Different Types of Leathers

Leather comes in various types, each with unique characteristics. Full-grain leather is the highest quality, retaining the hide's natural grain. Top-grain leather is slightly corrected and sanded for a smoother finish. Genuine leather is made from lower layers of the hide and is more affordable. Suede, with its soft, napped surface, is made from the underside of the hide. Nubuck is similar to suede but made from the outer side, giving it a more durable finish. Each type offers different benefits and is suited for various products.
